Hi, I’m Alex. I built VideoMuto because every online video tool I found wanted my clips uploaded to a server first. That didn’t sit right.
So I made a different kind of toolkit, one where everything happens in your browser. Your videos never leave your device. Not for processing, not for storage, not ever.
The tools cover the everyday things: convert, trim, compress, rotate, crop, and edit video and audio. Each one is free, has no file size limit, and tells you plainly when there’s a catch instead of hiding it.
I also built imgmuto and PDFmuto for the same reason: video files are just as personal as any other file, and they deserve the same treatment. VideoMuto and its siblings are the same brand and the same philosophy — private, local-first, free, no upload. If you edit images or PDFs too, you’ll feel right at home.
No accounts. No daily caps. No hidden watermarks. Just tools that respect your privacy and your time.

Everything runs in your browser
The core idea is privacy by design. Every tool processes your videos locally on your own device using modern browser technology, including codecs and workers loaded on demand. Your files are never uploaded to a server, stored, or seen by anyone else. Your videos stay on your device — that’s the whole point.
Free, unlimited and honest
There is no registration, no daily cap, and no hidden watermark. Tools process as many videos as you like, of any size your browser can handle. Where a tool has a limitation, we say so plainly instead of hiding it.
